This year, we are proud to welcome Victor Gaviria, one of the most renowned and influential Colombian filmmakers. Known for his raw and realistic style, Gaviria has portrayed the harsh realities of marginalized communities in films such as “Rodrigo D: No Futuro” (1990) and “La Vendedora de Rosas” (1998), both selected at the Cannes Film Festival. His work has become a symbol of social cinema in Latin America, giving voice to those often unheard.
As a special guest of honor, Víctor Gaviria will receive a tribute for his invaluable contribution to Colombian cinema, and will share his vision and experience.
